Intended Use
Cat fever, also known as feline panleukopenia, is an acute feline disease with high contact infectivity. It is caused by Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV), which mainly infects cats, domestic cats and wild cats. FPV is highly infectious, has an urgent onset and high mortality. The main manifestations are fever, leukopenia, vomiting and hemorrhagic enteritis. This kit is used to detect antibodies to feline parvovirus in cat whole blood, serum or plasma.
Test Principle
Rapid immunochromatography for detection of cat plague virus antibodies. Samples obtained from cat whole blood, serum or plasma were added to the well and moved along the chromatographic membrane with colloidal gold labeled FPV antigen. If FPV antibody is present in the sample, it binds to the antigen on the detection line (T) and shows a Burgundy color. If FPV antibody is not present in the sample, there is no color reaction.

Storage conditions and validity: Stored at 2-30℃, valid for 24 months.
Sample Requirements
This kit is only suitable for detecting cat whole blood, serum or plasma samples.
Test samples Fresh samples should be collected and tested as soon as possible within 1 hour.
Whole blood, serum or plasma samples can be stored at 2-8 ° C for 3 days if not detected in time, and serum or plasma samples can be stored at -20 ° C for 1 month.
Test Method
Whole blood, serum or plasma samples were collected from cats. After collection, the samples were added to diluent, the lid was tightened and mixed upside down.
Tear the aluminum foil bag of the test card, take out the test card, and put it on a smooth and clean table.
Aspirate 3 drops (about 80 μL) with a pipette and dilute the sample into the test card adding sample well, waiting for the test result.
Wait for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature to interpret the test results. The test results after 20 minutes are invalid.
Note: The above interpretation time is carried out at room temperature 15-30℃. If the temperature is lower than 15℃, the interpretation time should be extended appropriately. If the temperature is higher than 30℃, the interpretation time should be shortened appropriately.
Results
Negative: Only control line (C) has a purplish red band.
Positive: Both the test line (T) and the control line (C) show a purplish red band.
Invalid: Control line (C) does not show purple band.
