Cell Preservation Solution

Used to preserve and transport cells sampled from the human body for in vitro analysis and testing purposes only, not for therapeutic use.

Test Principle

Potassium and sodium ions provide the required nutritional environment for cells. The appropriate buffer energy maximizes the morphological integrity of the cells and allows them to be fully suspended and dispersed. Ethanol can fix cell and virus structure, preserve cell and virus morphology and avoid the lysis of cells by intracellular proteases and the digestion of nucleic acids by nucleic acid digesting enzymes, preserving protein and nucleic acid integrity for subsequent analysis. Anticoagulants are used to chelate heavy metal ions introduced into the solution and prevent cell coagulation. The ultimate goal is to maintain the integrity of the preserved solution cell morphology and nucleic acids.

Product Performance Indicators

• The cell preservation solution is a colorless and transparent liquid.
• The pH of the cell preservation fluid is within the range of 7.0~7.6
• The samples such as oral cells and nasal cells are collected and placed in the cell preservation solution, and the cell morphology is intact, without obvious shrinkage and swelling.
